Hi everyone! New to SDN; I graduated last year with a low GPA (c: 2.93, s: (honestly idk, likely 2.6)) and got accepted into a few post-bacc programs this year. Currently, I'm having some trouble choosing between Elms Post-bacc and Hofstra's. I'm still waiting to hear back from BU MAMS, but...Hey everyone! I was lucky enough to already be accepted at my two top choices, UVM and Hofstra North Shore LIJ, and I am having some trouble deciding which one is the right fit for me. They seem to offer quite different styles of learning, and I was hoping to have some input while I am forming...With Hofstra (the cheapest school right now as a comparison), I will have to owe ~$25,000 more to go to Downstate, and ~$45,000 more to go to Georgetown by graduation, considering grants, scholarships, and subsidized/unsubsidized loans. This is a total amount owed, not like 25k more per year for Downstate or 45k per year for Georgetown.Funnily enough, I felt the opposite as you, that I fit in more at Hofstra and those students seemed happier than the students at NYMC. Not from the city but also from NY, I would be picking Hofstra over NYMC regardless because I enjoy Long Island, enjoy the flexibility of being a 30 min LIRR ride from the city, and I definitely think Hofstra is viewed rather equally as NYMC.

Hofstra has a significantly lower residency director score, more expensive, with non-recorded mandatory lectures and written exams.Got into Emory but really wanted Hofstra since I live like half an hour away lol.
