HAZMatt. There are 3 total different versions of rails on 2022's, if you count the original SIG proprietary rail on the 2009/2340 frames that the "Swiss Frame" 2022's are built on. The first rail on the 2022 frame is "picatinny style," but it isn't spec because it is rounded. I am not sure when production switched to the 1913 spec rail that is ...The serial number is: S4-46xxx. Normally, the P239 has 2 different serial number prefixes: SA (9mm), and SA4 (.40 S&W & .357 SIG). I've seen a few of the S4 prefixes like yours lately. I have no idea where they fit in with the SA and SA4 serials. With that, it's hard to guage the date of manufacture. i Have a p220 9mm with american mag release. Serial number on slide, frame and box all match. serial is G236 2xx. HOw can I find out more about this gun or if it was a 38super conversion.
