I have yet to see the Mercenary Upgrades. I continued on and hit enough gems for R4, which means well over 5e58 coins. Plus, with the Spectre, faction coins were all over 1e6 with every available faction upgrade purchased. Went on to R4, and have now passed 1e59 coins and 2e7 faction coins each, and still not seeing a Mercenary Upgrade.R75+ starting issues.
