As I save manually playing Story Mode>. my saves are here in documents. C:\Users\YourName\Documents\Rockstar Games\Red Dead Redemption 2\Profiles\9BBCC69F They are all .bac files. Tried this also, the game just tells me there's no save file. I check my profiles folder and the .bak files are in there. Go into Photo-mode - open the gallery/photos (keybind: G per default). Upload them to your social club. Take them from there, if you want them saved locally. The files gets saved as a weird format, locally, so the above mentioned is by far the easier route to take. 5. go to: Documents\Rockstar Games\Red Dead Redemption 2\Profiles. copy the folder in there and if that doesn't work, copy the contents of the Emu save folder and paste it into the folder that came with the legit game. For me this folder had cfg.dat and cloudsavedata.dat. restart the game and it should load up for you. I hope this helps somone.
