Hi Guys, just got my first diesel 3 weeks ago. And I think my truck is using alot of DEF. I've done ~1400 km (~870 miles) so far in my new truck. So far ive used about 6.5 - 7 litres of DEF (1.7 to 1.8 Gallons) for fuel economy / consumption - Im averaging about 13 Litres per 100km (21-22 MPG)Ok then the only thing you can do is 1 of 2 things. Call your local dealer and see if they will do a roadside assistance out to your place to reset the level sensor. Have it towed to a dealer to reset the level sensor. those are the only 2 options. The system should have reset by having the ignition on.They probably gong to claim my doing. and to be hones, flexible pipe was our doing and in consequence was the melting of the def injection nozzle. In other words I am to old to star complaining and at the end probably has to pay anyway. Rather find somebody that clears the countdown and star all over again.
