I opened the trunk with the remote, but it did not want to stay shut (it wouldn't lock). I was in a dilemma since I was traveling, so after a few tries the trunk finally latched closed (it popped open a few ...The key fob will lock, but not unlock the doors on my 2009 Malibu. Had the fob checked, battery good, but dealer says the unlock button is bad. However, the spare fob won't unlock the doors either, so not sure whether to believe it's a bad fob. The remote starter works on the fob and we've checked the fuses and have a new battery in the car.
