Maya is pretty easy for most of it because of her very useful action skill. Slagg is such an annoying mechanic in ultimate and she takes the annoying out of it since it's bult in the action skilll with a point and does it extremely well. I did find some bosses a real pain but nothing that can't be done.Generally pet classes excel at solo play, so Gaige or Axton (especially double turret route) can lay a big distraction down. Maya has insane crowd control too. Iirc gunzerker is best in bl2. I would recommend gaige or axton, but mostly gaige. Some of the weapons that are good for Axton are going to be the weapons that benefit from grenade damage increase. Because your skills increase grenade damage, certain weapons actually do more damage (mainly torgue weapons). Here is a list of good weapons for an OP10 Level 80 Axton Build: Double Unkempt Harold. With my main build, Phaselock has a 5.4 second cooldown, and if you Phaselock, you win. Green tree is her utility tree, Ward is top tier skill at tier 1 of the tree, a bit further down you have Converge which is a must in just about any Maya build. Further down you have Quicken which ... If you want to shoot the ground and kill everything, go with Gaige. If you want to destroy everything that stands in your way, go with Salvador. If you want to create hell, go with Kreig. If you want to focus on CC and self heals, go with Maya. If you want to have a back up that will distract/nuke enemies, go with Axton.

dasmekoad. •. a lot of Maya's best skills are actually pretty early in her trees, converge is halway down her left tree and is a must grab in any build. sweet release is really good for keeping your hp topped off and it's a tier 1 skill in her middle tree, and cloud kill is one of her best damage sources and it's halfway down her right tree.That whole build was kind of set up around being able to just dive into the thick of things like a Gaige with BSS, and I think it works pretty well. And the FotF in conjunction with a Moxxi weapon gives the build a ton of survivability. 2% healing on million damage novas hitting multiple targets is no joke.
