I’ve read that you cannot separate 2.4 and 5ghz on the new XB7 routers.I have received emails from Xfinity to upgrade my modem/router because my existing XB7 modem does not support "Genesis". I didn't see this mentioned in the current descriptions of Xfinity gateways. I searched the Overview page for 'Genesis'.
