Suppose you drive 10k miles per year and your +1.5mpg nets you a savings of $220/year. (I figured this with 13 vs 14.5mpg with fuel @ 2.75/gal).

Went great except for fuel mileage. Very stable, little bouncy on concrete sections, but I've never had a tow vehicle that wasn't bouncy on the concrete.

After some thought, I have been STRONGLY considering a 1st Gen Sequoia. Has TONS of room, comes with the Toyota million mile v8, can tow, and could do the light off-roading that I want to do, AND they are much cheaper! Just put 285/70R17's on my '04 Sequoia. I went to Discount Tire...they were the only ones willing to give me a free trial fit on the larger tires before ordering what I wanted. I put on Kumho 285/70R17 Road Venture SAT KL61 tires on the stock rims. They are 2" larger in diameter and about 1" wider.May 21, 2013. It's not the trimming that matters. 35s break a lot of parts. I could destroy lockouts,idler arms, tre's, leaf springs,etc on command with 33x13.50 LTBs. 35s will break more. Other than that lift it,cut it,wheel it , & don't be a pansy. 02 Xterra beaten and battered but still going strong. ….
